Speakers
Atharv Joshi, Senior at Saint Francis High School Mountain View, CA is a TEDx speaker and publisher of two mobile apps FinLitEDU and Tablatype.
Lack of personal finance education in middle and high school makes it harder for the youth to learn the basics of personal finance before they get into the real world. It is key to helping young people manage money effectively so that they can become financially stable, build assets, and achieve their personal goals.
Atharv has successfully conducted numerous online workshops for 100+ students on personal finance for students in US and India .
Ameya Joshi, Freshman at Saint Francis High School Mountain View, CA has a keen interest to apply technology to solve community problems. He is a strong advocate of financial literacy and passionate about making students financially literate. Currently he is exploring the role of psychology in personal finance. When not doing homework or studying personal finance and psychology, you can find Ameya playing Tabla or on the soccer field as a lead Striker of the team.
