Science Leader Curriculum Focus Groups Louisiana Department of Education Science
Professional learning will include virtual webinars, curriculum-specific collaboration opportunities, and targeted support sessions.Purpose The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) Science Team is pleased to offer Science Leader Curriculum Focus Groups for the 2026-2027 school year. Through this year-long collaboration, school and system leaders will strengthen curriculum implementation through coaching support, instructional problem-solving, and collaborative analysis of High-Quality Instructional Material (HQIM) tools, routines, and instructional shifts. Participants will collaborate with peers using similar curricula while exploring connections to the Louisiana Educator Rubric (LER), curriculum-embedded assessments, instructional routines, and support structures that promote high-quality science instruction across Louisiana.
